Printing was very fast and of good quality (but noisy). Liked the ability to have scanned images transmitted wirelessly to my computer, but scan quality was poor. Tech support spent almost 2 hours trying to configure a Vista machine (one of our macs took 7 minutes).
However, the first printer never fed properly; the second tech support person who "addressed" this issue didn't have a clue - she asked me to remove a paper tray that can't be removed, used the wrong manual, etc., and testing (cleaning roller and power cycling) took an hour, including 15 minutes on hold during the middle of the call.
Just received a replacement printer today. It was DOA, hung up during configuration and was unuseable. The only saving grace was that tech support only took 35 minutes before ordering the second replacement.Get more detail about HP Officejet Pro 8500 All-in-One Printer.
