We originally bought this guy as a backup for our Canon scanner, printer, makes lemonade, etc., printer. However, the Canon soon died and well, this one easily adapted to our main computer usage. The guy at Best Buy told us to stick with HP since printers are their specialty and recommended this one. Only thing bad about it is that it really doesn't like it when you use a refilled cartridge over a new one. It will jam on you and tell you it has an obstruction if the cartridge is even slightly off. Caused a lot of stress until HP told us the problem. It's worked great ever since - faxes are particularly easy to send and receive and it feeds multiple sheets at once. If I could change anything it would be the scanner. I'd like one that is flat, like a copier, so I can scan larger items to sell on ebay, i.e. book covers, etc. Other than that, this thing has been going strong for over 2.5 years and is just one of those things you get once in awhile that you're glad you had the help from the salesclerk.
