Under no circumstances, based on this experience, will I ever buy another single piece of equipment from HP again. The fax machine sends, but I have yet been unable to receive a single fax from anyone outside of HP's help desk. This is after hours and hours of troubleshooting. The installation software was a disaster, the scanner functionality is totally questionable and the printer cartridges run out far too quickly. The printing functions were working fine, until I moved to a Mac, and now the printer driver--and this is the driver for Mac--is not compatible with OS. I've read that this will change if I upgrade to Snow Leopard, but I'm already thinking of giving this useless hunk of plastic away and getting a Canon or a Mac printer.
