I was looking for a simple little printer to replace my aging inkjet. For the past several years, I have used color very few times, and I am more concerned about clarity of text than pictures. My budget was about $150, and I needed a network printer so that I could access it from multiple computers around my house. I was looking at Brother's entry level model (I think the 2020 or something), but then I came across this refurbished model for about the same price. In addition to the networking capabilities, it features duplex printing, and faster printing. The manufacturer warranty (even on refurbs) gave me some assurance.
The printer arrived in great condition, and was very easy to setup (I did not even need to install their software). Print quality is great, and it has an auto-start function.
