I bought this printer to use because it prints on CDs and DVDs, and it works great for that! I am a pastor, and I use it to print images on my sermon CDs, which gives them a very professional touch and the print quality is excellent. This printer also does very well printing on paper, and I have used this model in my office for 3 or 4 years now. I am impressed with the quality of the print jobs, and I also like that the color ink cartridges are sold individually. That way they can be replaced individually, and the color quality is better than I have seen in single unit color cartridges. The only complaint I have for this is that I have had to replace it twice in the last 3 years. I do use it pretty often, but I wish it lasted longer. After a year or so, a message comes up that says some parts are in need of repair, and it will not print after that. Also, the ink cartridge holder will not move anymore after that, so unless you break it open (which I have done - ink is expensive to replace!), you waste the ink when you throw out the printer.
