I wanted to switch to color laser from inkjet because of all the hassle of clogged heads and expensive ink. I love how many pages I get out of my 2010 bw laser and I refill the toner myself at a fraction of the cost.
With the 315w I simply loaded the install software into both my computers (17" older imac and a newer 24") and then plugged the printer into one of them via usb. The other Mac could see it right away when I went to print something (I simply selected the newer printer) and I was printed a PDF down the hall. Piece of cake. color looks great. Only had for 1 day so that's all I can comment on here. Have not attempted to have both computers untethered...that may prove to require knowledge or cracking open the manual which I have not done yet....just plug and play as of now.Get more detail about Samsung CLP-315W Color Laser Printer.
